Hangaround

EN.   Originally, Hangaround was a student project in Design Institute of Lahti, where the task was to design furniture for the new LAB campus. I wanted to design a more fun and ergonomic alternative to the traditional static way of sitting. This idea eventually developed into the Hangaround seating group, which today can also be found elsewhere than just on the LAB campus. 

 Hangaround is made to order by Isku Interior.

FI.   Alkujaan Hangaround on suunniteltu Muotoiluinstituutin opiskelijaprojektin yhteydessä, jossa tehtävänämme oli ideoida kalusteita uudelle LABin kampukselle. Halusin suunnitella hauskemman ja ergonomisemman vaihtoehdon perinteisen staattisen istumisen rinnalle. Tästä ajatuksesta kehittyi lopulta Hangaround istuinryhmä, jonka voi tänä päivänä bongata LABin kampuksen lisäksi myös muualta.
